New Life Solutions and the Pregnancy Center of Pinellas County's annual Walk For Life is even more exciting when you raise pledges as a team and walk with a group of friends! Each team consists of three or more sponsored walkers and one Team Captain - who may or may not be one of these participants.

The Team Captain will recruit a team of walkers from family, friend, church members (not to be confused with Liaisons however), small businesses, book clubs, or community organizations.  Your team's involvement will increase the success of the Walk and will also create greater awareness of the ministry of New Life Solutions.

If a team raises over $2,000 in pledges, the Team Captain will be invited to attend Sol's Life Saver Dinner Club dinner (held in June 2010).

Team Captain Responsibilities:

1. Identify a unique Team Name

2. Register your Team online

3. Download the Team Captain's Handbook (above) for more information and helpful tips on building and encouraging your team, as well as team fundraising ideas!

4. Have each of your teammates pre-register online at this website as well and ask them to enter your Team Name AND your Church Name (if applicable) in the appropriate fields. (By registering themselves, your teammates will become familiar with this website and the material needed to participate as a sponsored walker)

5. Set a team goal and encourage your team to meet it

6. Join us at the Walk! Be sure that each team member has written their information as well as your Team Name on their pledge forms (and printed online)  On Walk day, turn in pledge forms and print-outs of online fundraising as a team at the Walker Check-In tent

7. WALK FOR LIFE and HAVE FUN!!
